Wowsa! What a jump
in either song and production quality! I think it should be mentioned,
that this can be considered Hubert Kemmlers's Sandra album. It has all
his handwriting. Also the lyrics are great this time. Definitely one of
Sandra's best three albums. My favourite songs here are "Secret Land"
and "Around my Heart" (I like the LP mix of it more than the single
version, though).
Only negative point:
Sandra's voice is recorded a bit too squeaky sometimes for my taste. |

Oh jeezzz, this album was fantastic and
terrific. It was the most perfect album I’d ever heard. All songs were
great especially "Secret Land", "Heaven can wait", and "Just
like Diamonds". Whow… the production was a lot better than on the other
3 albums. The sound of the keyboards in "Secret Land” seemed new
and different. And the rhythm always makes me sad while listening this
song (awww Hubert’s voice… oh you know what I mean, his voice was very
warm… like a man :-))) In my opinion, this song is very special because
Hubert only spoke in here instead of singing and I really love it. I feel
wonderful, beautiful, and nice whenever I listen this album *sigh* what
can I say? Anyway this is the best ever ever ever hee hee hee hee
:-) ***GOOD JOB HUBERT KEMMLER, MARKUS LÖHR, MICHAEL CRETU, AND KLAUS
HIRSCHBURGER*** |

The first record
with nearly perfect production and no fills in the song material. It also
features my personal favourite Sandra tune, "Heaven can wait". This
Album is rapidly improving every time you listen to it, because it seems
like it still has a bit more hidden quality to show up. A Must Have. |

Such a beautiful and mysterious atmosphere
is present on this album. I love it very much. I just can't critisize it.
In my opinion this serious album is the best of all. If you want to know
who Sandra is, just listen to this album, and you'll understand...
Some words about the music on this album:
There are new instruments, such as a beautiful guitar which sounds like
silver bells, and a grand piano, which gives the songs more life. I can't
choose my favourite song from this album. "...With the little luck,
a little luck, we'll be coming out from the dark..." and "...Your
eyes keep shining just like diamonds..." - these are my favourite strings.

Definitely the best album in her whole
career. The songs have a better sound and the artist's voice is much clearer
than on the previous two records. Being simultaneously a dance music fan,
I find this record excellent. Most of the songs are characterized by a
great beat and really good vocals. In one word: I would consider “Into
a Secret Land” a major breakthrough in her career. |

This album is great, from beginning to
end. It was Sandra’s biggest success here. I remember listening to it on
the radio when it was released (I didn’t know who Sandra was yet), they
would play it constantly, no matter what the dial was. When I eventually
bought it, I worn out 3 copies!!! |

Wow! This is my favourite album of her.
It is different from the previous ones. More dance and a lot of people
love it. I like all the songs of this album and especially "Heaven can
wait", "We'll be together" and "Around my Heart", also
the ballad "Just like Diamonds", to me it is the best of all the
ballads Sandra ever sang. |

Great album, even if you don’t know the
year of release you can quickly recognize it is made in the 80’s. Second
best album IMO, with one very special song I like very much: "Celebrate
your Life". "We’ll be together", "Heaven can wait", "Around
my Heart", these are also very nice songs and unfortunately the last
ones that represent her 80’s style. |

I would definitely ascribe this album
to the "discovery" of IBIZA; I think the song "Secret Land", which is the
album's opening one, has IBIZA land in its base. First evidence is the
"Secret Land", second factor - "Heaven Can Wait"; this song was written
after a helicopter crash, in which Sandra and Michael were involved while
flying over their domain on IBIZA island. Having gotten off with nothing
more than some fright, Michael composed "Heaven Can Wait", which, I think,
was exactly the song that made Sandra known in Azerbaijan and whole former
USSR as a SOLO artist. She became extremely popular here after the video-clip
of "Heaven Can Wait" was (demonstrated/shown) on the State TV. I emphasized
the word "SOLO", because Arabesque were very famous as here in Azerbaijan,
as all over the former Soviet space.
As the third evidence, I take "La Vista
de Luna" title; do You think it's just a matter of chance that song's title
is
in Spanish? I think not. Yes, "The Vision of the Moon" comes from the fresh
creative energy, which was inspired by IBIZA. As for the album design this
also carries relationship to the island, it shows a close plan of Sandra
mixed with an IBIZA landscape, plus a little negative photo of some part
of the Cretus' new estate.
There is another island photo inside
the booklet. Here again, Sandra's vocal is in the height. With "Into a
Secret Land" the trilogy is closed. |

The style of this album is different
to the previous two where Sandra's style starts to develop slightly more
serious pop tones. I think it was at this time that Sandra and Michael
had moved to Ibiza, which is kind of reflected in the style of the album
from its cover artwork to the music itself.
The song "La Vista De Luna" certainly
reflects the style of the whole album, which on a whole is very good and
a refreshing development of her music. Listening to this album always makes
me dream of sunsetting tropical islands. :)
Anyway, my favourites from this album
are "Heaven Can Wait" and "Just Like Diamonds".
On a whole its a great album, which shows
Sandra is not stopping, when it comes to trying new things and developing
her style yet further. |
